Resumo:

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar os diversos conceitos existentes entre os gregos quanto à arch? (origem, princípio), e suas relações com a formação do pensamento neotestamentário. Trata-se de uma abordagem que visualiza identificar interferências de idéias disseminadas no mundo helênico que paulatinamente afetaram a maneira de pensar e compreender a origem das coisas no pensamento cristão em fase de formação no primeiro século. Por esta razão, ao escreverem seus textos, os autores neotestamentários apresentaram às suas comunidades e demais leitores o que compreendiam ser a arch?, ou seja, a origem de todas as coisas.
