Agostinho e a Iluminação Trinitária

Resumo:

Segundo Agostinho, a iluminação é uma ação unilateral de Deus nas criaturas. O agente iluminador, por sua vez, é pensado a partir da definição de Deus como Trindade "Pai, Filho e Espírito Santo" e a ação de cada uma dessas pessoas pode corresponder a um sentido específico de iluminação. A Luz divina faz as criaturas e estabelece nelas uma estrutura trina e semelhante à Trindade, qual seja, o ser, a forma e o peso. Este trabalho investiga como a iluminação incide sobre as criaturas e, especialmente, sobre o homem.
