Resumo:

O presente artigo trata da influência socrático-platônica sobre o pensamento de Epicuro, evidenciando um vocabulário comum à ética grega antiga, a saber: as noções de logismós, phrónesis, hedoné e philia. Tais noções são examinadas no contexto da Carta a Meneceu, das Máximas Principais e das Sentenças Vaticanas.
