Resumo:

A teoria da evolução é, sobretudo a partir do século XIX, uma das referências no estudo do surgimento e desenvolvimento da vida no planeta. Objeto de grandes discussões e controvérsias, tornou-se, ao longo do século XX, um novo paradigma no âmbito do conhecimento do conjunto da realidade, referindo-se não só ao mundo da vida, ao qual esteve associada em suas origens, mas também ao da matéria, uma vez que o processo que deu origem ao universo também é o resultado de uma longa evolução. Teilhard de Chardin, no âmbito da paleontologia e em diálogo com as demais ciências da vida, a filosofia e a teologia, propôs, no século XX, uma síntese original, na qual busca pensar o conjunto da realidade em chave evolucionista. Sua síntese foi extremamente importante no diálogo interrompido entre fé cristã e ciência da natureza.

Abstract:

The theory of evolution is, especially since the 19th century, one of the references in the study of the emergence and development of life on the planet. Object of great discussions and controversies, this theory became, throughout the 20th century, a new paradigm in the scope of the knowledge of the whole reality, referring not only to the world of life, to which it was associated in its origins, but also to the matter, because the process that gave origin to the universe is also the result of a long evolution. Teilhard de Chardin, in the scope of paleontology and in dialogue with the other life sciences, philosophy and theology, proposed, in the 20th century, an original synthesis in which he seeks to think the whole of reality in an evolutionist key. Its synthesis was extremely important in the interrupted dialogue between Christian faith and science of nature.
