Resumo:

Este artigo possui dois objetivos. O primeiro é evidenciar como o surgimento da indústria cultural se vincula à elaboração de uma estética negativa. Em oposição à indústria cultural, que satisfaz as necessidades de distração e fruição estética do público e reforça o status quo, estabelece-se uma estética negativa. Adorno, ao avaliar o controle da esfera cultural, busca, na arte moderna, elementos que assegurem a autonomia da arte e sua desidentificação, ou seja, seu momento negativo e, por isso, crítico em relação à falsa totalidade social. O segundo objetivo é esclarecer, amparado pelas considerações de Adorno em sua obra Anotações sobre Kafka, como o elemento negativo está presente na obra desse literato. Adorno realiza uma análise imanente da forma kafkiana e lança luz à evocação de imagens, por meio das quais Kafka proporciona uma reflexão sobre o todo social deteriorado.

Abstract:

This article has two objectives. The first is to show how the emergence of the cultural industry is related to the elaboration of a negative aesthetic. Against the cultural industry, which satisfies the needs of distraction and aesthetic enjoyment of the public and reinforces the status quo, a negative aesthetic is established. Adorno, in evaluating the control of the cultural sphere, seeks in modern art elements that assure the autonomy of art and its disidentification, that is, its negative moment and, therefore, critical of the false social totality. The second goal is to clarify, supported by the considerations of Adorno in his work Notes on Kafka, how the
negative element is present in the work of this writer. Adorno performs an immanent analysis of the Kafkaesque form and sheds light on the evocation of images, through which Kafka provides a reflection on the deteriorated social whole.
